N2 Connectivity issues

I have a neuron N2 device that was useful for 1 day before the connectivity problems started. In the section of the app where you pair to the device the app finds the N2 and when I try to pair it the cycle just repeats where the app searches then finds the N2 but the N2 isn't paired. Anyone else having this issue and if so what was ypur fix?

I was using the app on an android tablet and it stopped connecting/got stuck in connection loop. After hard resetting the device and installing apps again I still couldn't get it to work again, until I found the instructions below on how to update the firmware. It was working fine again on the latest version until I powered off the tablet and went to use it again. I have tried redoing the firmware update, but can't get it to do the update now even though I'm pretty sure that I'm doing the same as before. The app works and conencts fine still on my mobile phone, but I prefer to use it on my tablet. I sent an email to support, but as yet still haven't had a reply after a couple of days.

Please could someone advise where I am going wrong?

I have now found that itstalling 2.1.8 version, I can get it to do the firmware update. hopefully i'll be able to install the latest version again and work ok. I'll try to make sure that I exit the app before powering off the tablet, which i what I think might have caused the issue.
